We are using this excellent herd boar from SGI. He is an old English line boar that excels in meat quality. Raised by Al Christain, he is a big framed stout made boar. His Dam line is a Bonnie L, which is a highly productive line from A3C Berks.

Swamp Donkey 64-4

Swamp Donley is a high meat quality sire we purchased from Flyin K Farms. He is a large structured boar with good muscling. Testing for meat quality puts this guy near the top of the breed in multiple categories. An aggressive breeder, his offspring will help any herd.

TUT Galileo 15-7

Sired by AJC Galileo. He tested a superior 1.87 ADG. He also tested 5.81 pH number. These were both tops in the breed for 2019. His Dam is TUT Lady IMF 70-6. She is also an elite meat quality genetic line. Terrific sire for selling meat hogs. With TSI number of 113.1, this guy will help most Berkshire herds.

TUT Jim Beam 86-6

A big rugged herd sire. Brother the Whiskey River at SGI. Out of the Hostile Takeover line, he has a proven meat quality pedigree. A good breeder, his mother was a Lady SP who is one of our best maternal lines. Combine this with some IASU Bonnie on his top side and this guy will make very nice replacement females.
